Nessa is a Chef who is beyond excited when her dream job offers to let her oversee the remodeling of the kitchen. But dreams clash with cherished memories and she’s left struggling to balance the two.
This done in one book centers on the fear of being a list cause. Nessa and Gaius aren’t the only ones fearing that they should have met the one for them by now, if such a person existed… it’s an easy to relate to feeling that can apply not only to relationships, but jobs as well.
I loved Gaius’ feelings about building his own house, and how he was living there at the beginning of the story.
